RESERVATIONS
Book up to seven guests in the restaurant or 12 guests online in the Wine Cellar or email or phone for larger parties. We would be happy to assist.
We accept bookings for lunch & dinner.
To secure your reservation a credit card guarantee (CCG) of $50 per person is required. This CCG is only an authorization hold, no charge will be made to your card.
ANISE & The French Café
Please note while we will change to The French Café on 1st of Feb and introduce our new modern Asian restaurant Anise, all existing bookings until 27th February will not be impacted. All events already booked will be honoured. All bookings from 27th February 2024 will be contacted and given the choice between dining at The French Café or moving to Anise to try the new experience. All unexpired Sid at The French Café will be honoured at either Anise or The French Café. Please call or email us should you have any questions.
Our Cancellation Policy
With each reservation we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of $50 per diner in the party, in the event of a no-show, or a last minute cancellation/change of reservation date if we are unable to resell your table.
A credit card surcharge of 1.7% applies on payments made by Visa, Mastercard, Amex.
No surcharge on EFTPOS/debit card or cash payments.

Each month our chefs will dive into a new cuisine and create epic street eats that they would love to eat themselves.
One night only, 5 different street eats for $85 per person, includes a welcome drink.

Champagne Lunch
Enjoy a 4 course set menu with a glass of Louis Roderer NV Champagne or a non- alcoholic drink for $120 per person every Saturday lunch.
All dietary requirements can be catered for on request.
Weather permitting our courtyard tables will also be able available.
Gaggenau Tuesday Test Kitchens
Try all of Chef Sid Sahrawat's restaurants under one roof for one night in an interactive experience. Two dishes are presented from each of the three restaurants - modern Indian cuisine (Cassia), contemporary New Zealand cuisine (Sid at The French Café), and Indian-influenced cuisine cooked over fire, from the most recent addition to the Sahrawats’ stable, KOL.
Over the course of the evening, diners get to see Sahrawat and his team cook, plate, and introduce each dish in an intimate environment designed to encourage interaction, both with the chefs and other diners.
The menu for the Gaggenau Tuesday Test Kitchen changes each month, depending on the seasonal availability of produce and what happens to be inspiring the chefs.
Priced at $190 per person, the Gaggenau Tuesday Test Kitchen includes canapés, the six feature dishes, and the choice of a glass of champagne, Seedlip non-alcoholic cocktail or beer on arrival, as well as water. A wine match is available for an extra $140 per person.
